Hometings is a curated homewares collection, with individual products sourced from all over the world (from Buenos Aires and Brussels to my small town in Florida). You can browse and buy here. Every other week, I'll send you three favorite tings: a Hometings product, an outdoor space & an indoor space.
This week, we feature open air food markets in Bangkok, a peaceful hotel in the middle of Buenos Aires and a vintage Danish set of coffee tings.
An outdoor space: Food markets in Bangkok
My Asia focused travel consulting company just “rebranded” to include my client in Thailand. The past few months I have gotten to work with one of my absolute favorite people once again, Koy, as she curates incredible trips around her country. It reminded me of the first time I visited her, in 2019, when we worked together at a different company. On this trip she made me discover one of my favorite things about Bangkok - the markets. I could get lost taking photos of the markets the entire time I am in the country, they vary throughout but I am partial to the ones in Bangkok because of the big city vibe surrounding these super colorful, sensory overland spaces. Koy and her team took me all around the city, weaving market visits throughout. Being led around by a true expert while sampling the incredible food, people watching and taking photos - there was nothing better.

An indoor space: Park Hyatt Buenos Aires
I arrived at the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires completely delusional last April, I had flown from Malaysian Boreno, to Kualal Lumpur to Doha to JFK (with one night at the TWA hotel) and then down to Buenos Aires for a conference. It turns out this is the hotel to be completely out of it at, I have never rested more peacefully in my life- in all areas of the hotel: the indoor lap pool area, the spa where I still regret getting a massage for 60 minutes instead of 90 and the restaurant where I indulged on the terrance (outdoor space, I know) with the most amazing Argentine wine - all on the first day, turning my jetlagged state completely around.

Hometings: Erik Magnussen for Stelton Denmark black sugar bowl & milk jug
Thanks to Afternoon roasting, I am now addicted to coffee. To enhance my cravings I have been collecting cool coffee accessories to add to the experience of consuming the coffee I love. This set of black sugar bowl & milk jug designed by Erik Magnussen for Stelton Denmark is by far my favorite - it is so sleek and the small spouts make it so fun to use, it’s available to enhance your coffee cravings here.
