Where we stayed - With my dear friend Nico at his mom’s house in Surrey as this was over the Christmas holidays, we got to spend it together.
Food Highlights - Lots and lots of amazing homecooked meals by Nico’s mom but also long pub lunches and dinners with his family and friends - a highlight was popping by Laura’s from Carnaby Cottage. The Christmas day table set up was a favorite.
What we bought - Nico is equally as obsessed with second hand shopping so over the course of the my time there we visited dozens of charity shops and antique markets. There was a lot I wanted but didnt buy as I headed to Rhodes to meet my family for New Years and had limited space but I ended up with stackable vintage pagoda tumblers, tiny (tiny!) candlestick holders and stainless steel salt and pepper shakers, made in England- how fitting!
